Bill Dinardo, President and CEO
Prior to joining Groton Biosystems, Bill was President of a high-tech manufacturing company leading it from start-up through acquisition by a fortune 100 company. Bill's twenty five years of management and business development experience is focused on transforming technologies and ideas into successful business ventures. He possesses extensive experience in a number of disciplines including Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Operations, Purchasing, and Advanced Materials Sourcing. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. In his hometown of Derry, NH Bill is active as an advisor on the Pinkerton Academy Marketing Advisory Board. He is the driving force behind Groton's mission to lead the way in providing meaningful solutions to the evolving needs of the biotech manufacturing market.

George Barringer, PhD, Founder, Executive Vice President and CSO
Dr. Barringer is the founder of Groton Biosystems and the inventor of the ARS Automated Reactor Sampling System and the GPA1000 Online Protein Assay System. He has over 20 years experience as a biochemistry professional and biotech entrepreneur. He began his career at American Hoechst, Inc as Analytical Services Director and founded Groton Technology, Inc. in 1984, specializing in the design and manufacture of sophisticated detection systems for HPLC, CEC and FIA applications. He founded Groton Biosystems in 2003 to focus on the specialized needs of today's biotechnology professional. He holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Lehigh University. He was an NIH Fellow of the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and a faculty member at Lehigh, and is currently an adjunct professor with the Lehigh Educational Satellite Network.

Frank Karlicek, Vice President Finance and CFO
Frank is a seasoned financial executive with over 30 years of senior level, management experience in both multi-national and new venture environments. His experience base includes petrochemical products and processes, air pollution control systems, alternative energy systems, independent power project development, and microelectronics component manufacturing. Prior to joining Groton Biosystems, Frank and Bill Dinardo, CEO, worked together building a successful high-tech manufacturing company. Frank holds a BA from St. Mary's of Minnesota.

Craig Hess, Vice President Engineering
Craig has spent the majority of his career in the laboratory instrumentation industry, including holding senior management positions with several companies. He has had direct responsibility for Product Design and Development, Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Worldwide Service. Craig’s broad background allows him to incorporate market needs, company goals, manufacturability, serviceability, reliability, and regulatory requirements into product designs. His experience includes time in both Fortune 500 and emerging start up companies. Prior to joining Groton Biosystems, Craig served as Sr. VP of Technology and Operations for a rapidly growing laboratory instrument company, where he played a key roll in a successful IPO and a series of profitable new product launches. Craig holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Management from Northeastern University.

Carol Stanton, Vice President of Marketing and Administration
Ms. Stanton started at Groton in sales and moved through the ranks in several departments. As VP of Marketing and Administration, she plays a key role in developing the day-to-day processes between sales, marketing, service, production, engineering, and materials control. She is leading several initiatives that are vital to Groton Biosystems' smooth transition from product development to large-scale production, including the development of all marketing communication materials. She brings several years of team building experience and is our leading promoter of strong working relationships and cooperation among all departments of the organization. Her varied knowledge of all aspects of the business makes her one of our most vital team players.

Brian O'Flaherty, PhD, Sales Manager
Brian's main focus is sales but he is also a key contributor as part of our scientific team working to develop and improve our process chemical monitoring solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. Brian came to Groton from Corning Inc. where he was a Senior Product Engineer implementing quality and audit programs on DWDM filters and modules used in fiber optic networks. Prior to that he worked at McPherson Instruments as an Applications Chemical Engineer, working with a product development team to manufacture monochromator and spectroanalytical instrumentation used in photolithographic materials. In his doctoral research at the University of Massachusetts/Lowell, he conducted basic research in the field of capillary zone and capillary electrokinetic chromatography. Brian is the author of several scientific publications and books. He is a member of the California Separation Society and the Capillary Electrophoresis Society of New England. Brian holds a PhD and MS in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island.

Tim Stoodley, Quality Manager
Tim is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of senior level, quality management experience in the high tech electronics industry, and is skilled in the implementation and management of systems based upon Six Sigma, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles. Tim leads the Groton Biosystems Quality Management Program and leads the team efforts to establish and monitor process-improvement initiatives, customer relations, supplier relations and overall organizational improvements. Tim is ISO9000 Certified, has a BS from Boston College and is Six Sigma Green Belt certified.
